Yorkshire Scare Grounds

Yorkshire's biggest scream park returns for select nights from 9 October to 1 November, with six attractions run as a single route rather than separate ticketed mazes: Bio-Engineered Horrors, Body Stitchers, House of Bourbon, Mercy Hospital, Nightshade and Contaminated Zone.

One ticket covers the lot, and between them there are scare zones, roaming characters, a beer garden, a photo booth and a merchandise outlet.

The 12+ guidance makes this the realistic Yorkshire choice if you have younger teenagers — York Maze Hallowscream up the road enforces a hard 16+ door policy. Under-16s must be accompanied by an adult over 18. Not suitable if you are pregnant, or have a heart condition, epilepsy or claustrophobia.
